DOC is designed to be used by eye care professionals in a domiciliary environment. It is designed to maximise patient responses when testing patients who suffer confusion, dementia, learning or communication difficulties while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. To do this its three full Snellen charts are displayed as single lines to help focus attention. There are also customisable written instructions built in for better communication with patients with hearing loss.
Other features include:- Uncrowded single letter snellen chart, Picture chart, Near vision chart, Duo Chrome, Cross Cyl target, Fixation disparity.
DOC is designed to be used with 7" and above tablets, although no restrictions on installation have been implemented to restrict its use from smaller devices to aid with testing and familiarity.
Please note, this program has been tested exhaustively and used for over 12 months in "live" environments however due to the vast array of tablet screen and resolution sizes we strongly recommend testing, familiarising yourself with the program and calibrating the software on your tablet prior to live use.
DOC will also work with a Bluetooth connection to a Nintendo Wii remote control*, this is achieved using an external piece of software freely available of Google Play market called "WiiMote", more details including installation and setting up can be found on our web site or by searching for "WiiMote" on the Google Play Store.
*Please note, original Wii Remote Control only. Dependent upon device compatibility.
COMING SOON! A free add-on for DOC to enable your Google powered phone to control the program remotely via Bluetooth. This program will be free for all DOC users to install.
Please note, this is the European "metric" version, coming soon switchable to US "imperial" measurement.

Great chart, just needs a few tweaks. I've been using this in a domiciliary setting all week and it's fantastic. One thing that is needed though is the ability to calibrate the chart separately in landscape and portrait modes... works great in landscape for me, but then the letters are too big in portrait mode!!!
Works great but... I am eagerly awaiting the Bluetooth remote control through an android phone. The Bluetooth keyboard option may be sufficient. The Wii controller is not compatible with my new tablet, but the charts and functionality are simple and perfect for what I need.
It's great Great for domiciliary work, can use a Bluetooth keyboard as a remote. Extra single letters would be a great addition
Fantastic Chart, simple to use, Suitable for everyone. Having been using this chart in a domiciliary environment, it is the best design i have come across. Its simple to use, using the Wii remote with it removes any need to walk back and forth from the chart. The single letter chart makes testing patients with dementia so much easier as it eliminates confusion for the patient. The ability to write your own instructions on the chart is excellent when seeing deaf patients, making the test simpler for everyone without the need to shout. Using the picture chart is excellent for a range of patients, the pictures are simple and clear suitable for children. Definitely the best chart i have seen on the market!
Fantastic Love the portability and that it is so adaptable. Useful to have the slides you can personalise especially for people where hearing is an issue
